Silverlight 4를 사용해서 뭔가를 당장 개발해 보고 싶은 분들이 무지 무지 많을 것 같습니다. 이번에 추가된 재미있는 기능들을 보면 더더욱 그러한 것 같은데요. 한 가지 꼭 알아두셔야 하는 점은 개발자 런타임만 제공될 뿐 일반 사용자들의 런타임은 제공되지 않는 다는 점입니다. (2009-12-20일 기준입니다.)

따라서 일반 사용자들은 Silverlight 4를 사용한 웹 페이지를 사용하기 위해서 개발자용 런타임을 설치하기 전에는 볼 수 없기 때문에 아직 일반 사용자들은 지원하지 않는다고 표현하는 것이 맞습니다.
